CALIFORNIA ROAD TRIP ๐Ÿš™

The highlight of Summer 2021 was definitely the road trip my daughter Emma (going into
7th grade) and I took up the California coast along Highway 1. My son Jack (going into 4th
grade) was dropped off at his first sleep away camp, then my daughter and I went on a 6
day road trip. We visited Paso Robles, Monterey, Carmel by the Sea, Big Sur, and Cambria.
Our favorite was definitely the scenic drive on Highway 1 and staying in Big Sur amongst
the giant Redwood Forest. We hiked every day, explored all the national parks, enjoyed a
few days with limited cell phone service and no WIFI.....instead we played cards, read a
book, and hung out. It was nice quality one-on-one time with my 12 year old going on 16
๐Ÿคฃ Now back to work, back to school, while at the same time enjoy beautiful sunny San
Diego weather โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ–
